We were delighted to be asked to host Windsor's third rendition of #TheMotoSocial here at our shop in Ford City and it turned out to be quite the night. Despite a line of storms and lightning striking next door we still managed to almost clean us out of Red Stipe. Mike's old Cayman pal, Zach Mack, played tunes on our soon-to-be patio while Mark cooked up the tastiest jerk chicken wings this side of Port Antonio. On Saturday July 13th we had a party to celebrate the official launch of BLUEM Vintage Denim. Datsunn played in the corner underneath the neon and fish flies. We washed down Heimat pretzels with Jack's specialty cocktail, the Blue Jean Baby. We danced next to Julie Belanger's beautiful collection of paintings while Aunt Janet hustled merch in the blue hallway. What a night! You can find the Bluem collection of vintage Levi's jeans, shorts, and jackets in our shop all summer. Big thanks to Carly for organizing the fun!                                ...

Well we're officially open and we did it with a nice party put on by our new friend, Anthony Sheardown, and some local artists. It was a fun evening of art and shopping and Red Stripe and Jamaican patties. Special thanks to Anthony for organizing everything and to shop sailor, Will Parkolab, who grabbed the bottle opener and spent the night popping Stripes so we could mingle with our guests.  We hope this is the first of many Art Shop Drink events and can't wait 'til the next one.

I guess we should put 'eat' in there too but regardless we are super excited to run our first event as part of our Grand Opening Weekend. It'll be on Friday, May 10th and start around 5pm and run into the night. Our new friend and talented pro photographer, Anthony Sheardown, will be organizing the party. Should be fun. Since it's Mother's Day weekend we'll have lots of art and styles and gifts for mom including some lovely flowers by local florist, Colour Pop Florals. See you on the 10th!

We love Montreal in the summertime: beautiful people, beautifully dressed in a beautiful city. We softly opened Friday night with a nice little private session for family and friends who helped us out over the last year. The shop felt really spacious. Everyone enjoyed complimentary Red Stripe and wine. Marina's family brought patties all the way from Jamaica! We played reggae and yacht rock. Special thanks to local sailor and photographer, Brian Dawes, for popping in and snapping a few shots. As usual the Ramped Construction bar stole the show.
